A twisted interpretation of How G-d created mankind
In the book of Genesis, 1:27, "So G-d created man, in the image of G-d he created him, male and female he created them." ...1:31, ..the sixth day.
Here, according to most modern interpretations, G-d created human beings on the sixth day. Interestingly, in Hebrew word, G-d is a plural form. It was argued but many span the understanding with trinity to justify it. We will discuss it later.
From chapter 2:4 - 20 in the book of Genesis, it records a different story of how the Lord G-d created Adam, caused the plants to grow and bear fruits, put Adam in the Garden of Eden, formed all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air; let Adam name all the animals, and finally created the woman, Eve, as his helper.
Many scholars or pastors insisted that this is just a detailed account of how the Lord G-d created the first two. However, if we pay a little more attention on the details, with an assumption of its all true, there are many differences between two records of creations.
1. The different dates of creation of human beings
Adam was created between the second day and before the third day based on the verses 2:5-6: "and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up for the Lord G-d had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground."
Comparing to verses from 1:11-13: Ge 1:11 And God saith, `Let the earth yield tender grass, herb sowing seed, fruit-tree (whose seedis in itself) making fruit after its kind, on the earth:' and it is so.
Ge 1:12 And the earth bringeth forth tender grass, herb sowing seed after its kind, and tree making fruit (whose seed is in itself) after its kind; and God seeth that it is good;
Ge 1:13 and there is an evening, and there is a morning--day third.
The grass and herbs and trees were grown forth in the third day. The ground needs to be worked before it can grow out the plants as it said in verse 2:5. Therefore, Adam was created to tilt the ground in order to bring forth the plants and various vegetation.
The verse 1:27 - 31 records that the male and female were created on the sixth day. Clearly, if we believe that the Bible is true and authentic, these two events occurred at two very different days are not same at all.
2. The Different amount of human beings
In Genesis 1:27, G-d (in plural form) created male and female and blessed them to multiply and increase in number to fill the earth and subdue it. however, in Genesis chapter 2, the Lord G-d created Adam and his woman only. then if the verses 2:19-20 are correct, then the human beings were created on the sixth day after the animals were created crossing fifth day and sixth day.
If we trust the Bible is readable for every one, then here are two accounts of two different creations of human beings. One has a large account of human beings; the other has only two human beings.
what could be a rational understanding of these records?
An untwisted Understanding
Here is what could happened.
On day 2, the Lord G-d created Adam and put his breath in him to make him a living being. This breath is one kind of his own spirit that gives Adam much knowledge and wisdom to learn everything that G-d wants him to do. The first thing Adam did was to work the ground and bring forth all the vegetation and plants and trees. The second recorded thing Adam displayed his knowledge and wisdom was how Adam named all the creatures according to their kinds. This needs tremendous knowledge and wisdom to understand all known creatures on the earth.
On day 6, "G-d" whom I believe to be angels of the Lord created the other group of people according to the image of their own images. Apparently, these human beings are very similar to Adam and Eve but must have some difference(s) from them.
Please allow me to continue to unfold my understanding.
If the above understanding is true, then there were two creations of human beings. One was Adam and Eve, created by the Lord G-d and possessed his precious spirit. The other was second group of human beings outside of Garden Eden, who had the spirits from the angels of the Lord G-d.
Indeed, one core information here I wanted to cross is that there can be two different types of spirits that were involved in these two human creations.
Can this be true? as I believe that if this is true, then many following records can be understood easily.
1. The story of Cain
2. The story of Enoch
3. The story of fallen of Adam and Eve
